Porsche Cayenne Front Differential

Like most 4wd systems it’s normal to have a front & rear differential with power supplied from the gearbox to a transfer unit. This Porsche Cayenne ( 2005 4.5 V8 Turbo model with 89k miles)  presented with a progressive and constant noise on drive from the front. The suspected differential was removed in our workshop and the gearbox team duly replaced the bearings & seals

Re-bearing & re-seal with fitting & oil £1100 + Vat ( housing , crown wheel & pinion need to be serviceable and undamaged )
