BMW X3 TRANSFER UNIT.

BMW transfer units, this particular one was in for damage caused to the the clutch basket/drum , which houses steel plates and friction plates similar to what you would find in an auto box. The chain can be also be damaged and or stretch over time these units can also be “wound up” due to incorrect tyre fitting in as much as a difference or variation in the rolling circumference say between the front or rear set of tyres.
