The ZF 8 speed fitted to Mercedes HGVs and other commercials are designed to be repaired. Parts are readily available from the main agent, albeit expensive. This particular gearbox suffers with fork and selector problems the usual bearings / syncro issues combined with exaggerated arrival at the workshops if driven with a faulty clutch which puts the gearbox under tremendous load.

Repair costs £500 + parts & Vat ( based on strip & report )

Fitting not available, however we offer free collection of the gearbox within & surrounding M25 area or can you ship to us direct on a pallet
