HGV Exchange gearboxes.

Strictly speaking the Iveco 7.5 Ton is not HGV, however it is not always necessary or cost effective to purchase an exchange gearbox for a commercial vehicle when the parts are in most cases readily available. The Iveco 7.5t is a fairly straight forward gearbox usually 5 speed the picture below shows that this particular variant has been engineered with the option to be upgraded to a six speed gearbox ( may help with greater fuel economy) . Common issues with these are syncro’s & bearings
