The Aston Martin DB6 5 Speed gearbox ( ZF) ( pictured above) , we still see a lot of these from various Aston Martin restorers from across the UK , The gearbox itself is fairly robust and normally presents with general leaks from the casing and seals which is not surprising considering the DB6 was produced from 1965 – 1971 , service items are usually available , hard parts such as gears , hubs or shafts can take a little longer to source  and in some cases need to be remanufactured.

Expect a rebuild from £500 + parts and VAT
