PF6 Master & Traffic Gearboxes

The 5  &  6 speed PF6 Master / Traffic  Gearboxes generally wear all bearings out ( up to 8) including differential , they can do hard part damage when bearings collapse. part of the process when it comes to rebuilding a gearbox is to first strip & visually inspect the components, secondly the entire gearbox goes through  an aqueous hot-wash in one of our Bupi Machines ( our largest machine can take up to 4 gearboxes) and then the gear-set is completely stripped down and further inspected its at this point we are looking at the condition of the hubs / Syncros together with the profile of the gears / dogs /selector forks.
